Slack App
Slack and Nimeyo Seamlessly Integrated
Slack App Installation
Welcome to Nimeyo’s Slack App.
With Nimeyo, you can seamlessly bring knowledge right into Slack!

We provide integration into qPod, our knowledge management system where you search less and do more!

If you are interested, just go ahead and sign up for our free trial instance.

Once your trial instance is created, you can use our Question and Answer interface to incorporate information from various sources like E-mail, attachments, Salesforce, Slack, HipChat, Yammer, Box, SharePoint, Google Drive, JIRA, Confluence, Bugzilla, and more!

And once we automatically and securely digest all these knowledge platforms, we can provide this information to you right into your workflow. Sure, we have a Stack Overflow web like interface, but we also have an Outlook App, Salesforce App, Chrome extension, and, of course, you can get this information from Slack. In other words, we bring your knowledge into your workflow.

This app will allow you to log into qPod via Slack, allow you to import your public channels into qPod if you wish, and most importantly, allow you to query and post to qPod by interacting with our bot or slash commands – so you don’t even have to leave Slack to get your work done!

qPod by Nimeyo’s Slack App Installation Instructions

Installation is a breeze.

Below are the steps needed:
  • If you do not already have a qPod instance for your team, click the "Sign in with Slack" button below to request one. We will have it ready for you, often within 1 business day.
  • If you already have a qPod instance, you can log into your qPod instance via Slack, then navigate to Admin -> Plugins -> qPod Slack, and click the "Add to Slack" button.
  • Once the integration setup is completed, you can use slash command /qpodask to query anything on qPod, or /qpodpost to post something on qPod. As simple as that. You may also send your query as direct message to our bot @qpod. You can also invite the bot to certain channels and let it try to chime in with information relevant to current conversation.
  • In addition, if you would like to import your Slack public channels into qPod so they are available for search, you may enter their names under the qPod Slack plugin options. Channel imports will occur at midnight every day.

If you run into any issues, please contact us at support@nimeyo.com, and we will gladly help you out.

Our privacy policy can be found here. In short, your data will be used only by and for your own qPod instance.
